At Danzart, we give you every chance to perform and extend your incredible training through exciting options ranging from concerts and eisteddfods to dance competitions and community events throughout south east Brisbane.
It’s wonderful to watch the growing confidence of our amazing students as they capture the hearts of the audience at every Danzart performance! We also run regular workshops to enhance connections in our strong dance community. Our workshops attract some of the biggest names in dance!

End of Year Concert

Our annual concert is the outcome of a carefully organised, professional and entertaining year of dance! We provide a platform for our students to showcase the hard work they’ve put in throughout four terms at Danzart. The concert also gives our students an insight into production and backstage techniques, while developing confidence as performers. It’s an uplifting way to end the year’s program.

Dance Competitions

Group eisteddfods provide an excellent foundation for the aspiring performer who learns self discipline and commitment.. Students work hard to reach a high standard of technique and performance. Our eisteddfod kids build great friendships through this engaging team experience.

Soloists & Private Coaching

We provide private tuition for students who wish to participate in solo competitions. Danzart choreographers and teachers are committed to mentoring and coaching students who wish to compete as soloists.

Ballet Extension

Danzart offers extended ballet training, in addition to syllabus classes for all students – whether they are keen to pursue a professional ballet career or wish to further develop their skills.

Community Events

Our dance school is frequently invited to perform at venues throughout south east Brisbane. These events provide an opportunity for our students to perform without pressure. Dance Exams

At Danzart we offer exams to students of all ages to motivate and reward them for their efforts. Exams enhance creativity, musicality and technique, providing opportunities to progress and achieve your dance dreams.

Guest Teachers and Workshops

Our studio provides a range of dynamic and informative workshops and guest teachers to inspire our dancers to greater heights.

Over the years, we’ve featured some of the top names in Australian dance as special guests at our workshops.

 They include:

Jason Coleman (Ministry of Dance)

Jason’s career as a dancer, choreographer and presenter has spanned over 30 years, his choreographic credits includes some of the world’s largest stadium shows including the Sydney Olympics, the Manchester Commonwealth Games and Glasgow Commonwealth Games.  As a former So You Think You Can Dance Judge, Jason has watched, mentored and critiqued thousands of performers.

Lauren Seymour (Dream Dance Academy)

Lauren’s fierce passion for dance has propelled her from Channel Ten’s So You Think You Can Dance to stardom, performing alongside some of the biggest names in the business including Kylie Minogue, Liam Payne, Jessie J, Zara Larsson, Robbie Williams, Delta Goodrem and Kelly Rowland.

David McLean (Hip Hop)

As a dancer, David’s performance credits range from the Australian Dance Festival to the Dream Dance Company Genesis. As a choreographer, David’s work has been performed at the Victorian Dance Festival, Australian Hip Hop Championships, Battlegrounds and Groove. He has taught and choreographed at some of Sydney and Canberra’s leading studios and is in constant demand for workshops.

Cat Santos (Dream Dance Academy)

Cat has worked on many Australian TV series including X Factor, The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent, Dance Academy and has performed alongside Nick Jonas, Ricky Martin, Dannii Minogue, Havana Brown and Red Foo. Cat’s a fun, energetic teaching method makes her a workshop favourite; her goal to reach out to aspiring young dancers, motivating them to believe in themselves.

Joel & Jesse Rasmussen

These talented dance siblings grew up dancing with one another to tour as the support act on Beyonce’s “I am...” world tour.

Today Jesse is creative director and a cast member of The Tap Pack and Joel makes short films showcasing some of the best dancers and choreographers across Australia.

Jazmine Meakin

Jazmine’s choreography is internationally acclaimed. Her Mega Jam YouTube Channel is one of the biggest dance choreography channels in the world with 1.4 million subscribers and more than 400 million video views worldwide!
