COVID-19 Information

Pandemic Safety Guidelines at Danzart Studio

As the COVID situation evolves, we will give you regular updates on procedures in place to ensure safety at our Seven Hills studio.

The Danzart team is proactive when it comes to the health and wellbeing of students and staff and take pride in our facility and how it operates.

We would like to highlight the policies we have in place at the studio to help our dance families stay healthy and safe.

Covid 19 affects people in different ways.

Most common symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Tiredness

Less common symptoms include:

  • Aches & pains
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhoea
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Skin rash
  • Discolouration of fingers or toes
Teamwork

Any families who intend to travel interstate must notify us before departure.   Students/families are not to return to the studio (after travelling interstate) unless they have quarantined for 14 days after return and have had a negative COVID test.

Any student/families who have attended Government Identified Hots spots are to notify Danzart immediately.   These students/families are not to return to the studio until they have quarantined for 14 days after and have had a negative COVID test.

The same rule applies if students/families have come in contact with people who have been in these hotspots.

If any student has any cold-like symptoms - they are to stay at home.

We ask that there be no more than four adults at a time in the foyer of the studio.   Please make all payments online or over the phone.   If making payments over the phone, please call after 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Students are to wait in the allocated areas until a staff member directs them to enter the studios.

Senior students must not congregate in the foyer. Please wait in the allocated areas.

Studio Safety
  • Sanitizer: We have sanitizer in each studio, soap in the bathrooms as well as at the front desk, and we encourage students to sanitise hands frequently. If every student would carry a bottle with them in their dance bags, we would greatly appreciate it.
  • Handwashing: We encourage frequent handwashing (for at least 20 seconds before rinsing).
  • Surface Cleaning: We are wiping down frequently touched surfaces and equipment.
  • Deep Cleaning: Our studios are and have always been thoroughly cleaned twice a week.
  • Sneezes and Coughs: We are encouraging dancers to cough and sneeze into their arms, not in their hands.
  • Staff: Only staff feeling well (without symptoms) will be in the studio.
  • How you can help:
  • Do not bring toys from home.
  • Do not send your child to the studio sick or if a family member is sick.
  • Do not break any formal quarantine/government restrictions.
  • Please encourage your child to cough and sneeze into their arm, not in their hand.
  • Alert us if your child does have COVID-19 and have been to the studio within the last 14 days.
