What is a suitable age for my child to commence classes?

Tinymovers enrolls children from ages 2 to 5 years.

Can my child try a class before enrolling?

Yes trial classes are available and we actively encourage you to book one of our complimentary classes online (Click here)

What should my child wear?

For trial classes children may wear a favourite dress-up or comfortable clothes to move about in. Students may trial in bare feet.

On enrolling your child in a tinymovers class, your little dancer will receive her/his very special Danzart leotard/T-Shirt* to wear to class.

*FREE Leotard/T-Shirt is only available to first-time dancers enrolling in the tinymovers Program for a full term of dance.

Girls wear pink ballet shoes purchased a dance shops and boys wear black jazz shoes purchased at dance wear shops.

If attending Tap movers we recommend the following retailers for footwear: Stretch Out Holdworth St Coorparoo, and Sue's Shop in Carina.

Do you have an annual concert?

All Tinymovers classes have an End of Year Concert. These are age appropriate regarding costumes and rehearsal times. They are not compulsory, but we find most families wish to be involved to celebrate the year.

Can parents watch classes?

Parents and Care Givers are welcome to join our Creativemovers class, or we have large screens in our reception area where you can watch your child’s class. In term 2 we offer a parent-watching week where classes are open for parents, grandparents and special friends to view. Outside of this viewing week we encourage our Kindymovers parents to watch from our comfortable reception area, we find this helps our Kindymovers focus on their class.

How many students will be in my child’s group?

We ensure each class has the recommended educator to child ratio for your child’s safety and enjoyment

Which class is suitable for my child’s ability?

Classes at Tinymovers are categorized by stage, not age/ability; we do provide an age guide, but it is only a guide. We are more interested in your child enjoying their class and building on their interests and strengths.

We offer 2 key stage levels:

Creativemovers (ages 2-3)
Kindymovers (ages 4-5)

What payment options do you offer?

Unless otherwise agreed, all class fees should paid in full by their due date (listed on your invoice).
